Senior Staff Software Engineer

Salary: $240,000 - 249,500 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• We are looking for 9+ years of backend software engineering experience, including time at a staff level or comparable scope.
• We need strong system design capabilities and a proven record of architecting, launching, and operating production services.
• We expect deep expertise in at least one JVM language; we primarily use Kotlin.
• We value experience owning a technical domain end to end, from the data model through production operations.
• We look for a track record of driving cross-team technical initiatives through influence rather than authority.
• We want strong problem-solving ability and the capacity to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

• Familiarity with event sourcing and CQRS, including event schema design, replay, and projection rebuilds, is preferred.
• Strong Kotlin and JVM ecosystem expertise is beneficial.
• Knowledge of gRPC service implementation is an asset.
• Experience with inventory management, production planning and scheduling, or demand forecasting systems is desirable.
• Working with large-scale operational datasets is also a plus.

Our hybrid model requires three days a week in the office, and team members are welcome to come in up to five days a week for in-person collaboration.
