Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a new Production Supervisor to join our team in our Hutchins, TX facility!Work Authorization: To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.Your responsibilities:Ensure safety and facility policies and procedures are observed and followed and directs reports are trained accordinglyMaintain and monitor workflow by establishing and flexing resources to meet daily output goals and customer needsRecord and maintain departmental metrics to recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment, employee performance and quality of productConduct employee training and performance appraisal process as delegated and as scheduledMaintain departmental standards in safety, quality, productivity, utilization, delivery and trainingMaintain a clean, organized work area through 5S and other lean manufacturing toolsQualifications:High school graduate or equivalent2+ Years Production Supervisory ExperienceDemonstrated skills in leadership, organization and problem solvingExcellent communicator, listener, negotiator and facilitatorAbility to understand complex concepts and communicate across all levels of the companyExperience in MS Office suiteRequirements within this position:Regularly required to stand/walk for long periods of timeRoutinely operates machinery and handles products including print materialsRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry).We would also prefer:Printing experienceContinuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing experienceExperience with environmental and safety regulationsAbout Taylor Corporation:One of the largest print and communications firms in North America, Taylor's family of companies provides a diverse set of products, services and technologies that address the toughest business challenges.
