STATE FIRE — LICENSED FIRE PROTECTION TECHNICIAN
REQUIRED: MUST hold current Louisiana State Fire Marshal endorsements for Commercial Kitchen Suppression Systems and Portable Fire Extinguishers.
State Fire is a family-owned, established fire protection company looking for an experienced, dependable technician to join our team. This position includes a company vehicle and a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, with normal operating hours of 6:30 AM–3:30 PM. We offer $50,000–$60,000 annual base pay plus commission, PTO, and retirement benefits.
The technician will inspect, service, recharge, repair, and install commercial kitchen suppression systems and portable fire extinguishers. Responsibilities include troubleshooting deficiencies, completing accurate electronic reports, taking jobsite photographs, maintaining vehicle inventory, and communicating professionally with customers and dispatch.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and values honesty, accountability, punctuality, safety, and teamwork. You must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, basic smartphone skills, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, work from ladders, and work independently.
