Location 800 Mt Vernon Hwy NE.,Suite 120,Atlanta, GA, 30328,United States Employee Type Non-Exempt Manage Others No Description JOB SUMMARY Assist Physician with patient examination and treatment, responsible for patient histories, routine diagnostic procedures, as well as some clerical duties. RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain and stock all exam rooms Clean and maintain all instruments Order supplies as needed Prepare patients for examination Take patient history, visual acuity, and glaucoma tests Take dictation and document medicals while physician is examining patient Write out necessary prescriptions Administer drops and give injections under physician supervision Assist physician in minor office surgery Return and answer patient phone calls When help is needed at front desk, answer phones and make appointments Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma with a minimum of two (2) years of Ophthalmology experience. Strong organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Word and other Software Packages Flexibility (may require some early mornings and evenings) #J-18808-Ljbffr
