About the Position

Job Title

Nuclear Medicine Technologist I

Key Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality nuclear medicine images in accordance with established departmental standards
• Demonstrate competence across a variety of nuclear medicine equipment and technology, including PET/CT scanners and Nuclear Cardiology Cardiolite perfusion scans
• Adhere to safety guidelines for patients, support personnel, and self
• Foster teamwork through effective and professional communication within a large team
• Maintain flexibility to staff at various work locations, shift times, and shift lengths

Required Qualifications

• CNMT (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) OR ARRT (N) Nuclear Medicine certification required
• Florida Department of Health License in Nuclear Medicine required
• BLS certification required within 90 days of start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with nuclear medicine equipment and procedures
• Experience operating a PET/CT scanner and/or performing Nuclear Cardiology Cardiolite perfusion scans
• Excellent patient care skills with the ability to operate professionally within a large team environment
• Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field
