Procurement Category Manager 3

The Procurement Category Manager is responsible for developing and executing global sourcing strategies for modular infrastructure solutions supporting large-scale construction programs. This role manages supplier relationships, commercial negotiations, capacity planning, and procurement activities across electrical, mechanical and other pre-assembled infrastructure solutions. Job Responsibilities -Develop and execute global category strategies for modular electrical and mechanical infrastructure solutions. -Lead supplier sourcing, competitive bidding, contract negotiations, and commercial management activities. -Manage strategic supplier relationships to ensure capacity, quality, cost competitiveness, and on-time delivery. -Partner with engineering, construction, quality, and operations teams to support successful program execution. -Evaluate supplier capabilities, manufacturing capacity, quality performance, and delivery reliability. -Identify and mitigate supply chain risks while driving continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives. -Provide category insights, recommendations, and updates to business stakeholders and leadership. Skills -strong procurement, sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management skills. -Ability to evaluate commercial, operational, and technical proposals. -strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. -Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. -Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other business applications. Education / Experience -Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or a related field. -8+ years of experience in procurement, category management, supply chain, construction, manufacturing, or infrastructure industries. -Experience managing strategic suppliers, commercial agreements, and cross-functional business initiatives. Preferred Experience -Experience with modular construction, industrial manufacturing, electrical systems, mechanical systems, or large-scale infrastructure projects. -Experience supporting global supplier networks and complex sourcing programs.
