Location: Houston, TX 77039
Pay Rate: $21.00- $23.00 Hourly (DOE)
Schedule:

• Monday–Friday
• Training (First 4 Weeks): Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
• Training will take place at the Pipe Yard.

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented  Inventory & Billing Specialist to join our in-office team at our Main Yard location. This position will be responsible for managing customer pipe inventory transactions, processing monthly billing, reviewing paperwork, performing data entry, and providing backup support to the billing department.

The ideal candidate is organized, computer proficient, able to multitask, and comfortable communicating with customers, office staff, and yard personnel. This individual should take initiative, have a strong work ethic, and take pride in maintaining accurate and timely records.

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain accurate customer pipe inventory transactions.
• Review and verify paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
• Perform data entry and maintain inventory records.
• Prepare and process monthly customer billing.
• Provide backup assistance to the billing department.
• Respond to emails and answer incoming phone calls professionally.
• Coordinate with office and yard personnel to ensure inventory transactions are completed accurately and on time.
• Identify and report inventory or billing discrepancies.
• Maintain organized records and documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers and internal team members.
• Handle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Learn and follow company procedures and inventory processes.

Position Requirements

• Previous data entry and administrative experience required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of pipe descriptions or oilfield pipe is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Dependable, motivated, and willing to learn.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High school diploma required.
