Project Engineering Manager

Overview Our client is seeking a Project Engineering Manager to play a key role in the delivery of large-scale power generation projects across gas-fired, solar, and battery energy storage technologies. This is an opportunity to lead complex engineering and permitting activities, working closely with EPC partners and stakeholders to deliver critical energy infrastructure projects. Responsibilities Manage civil engineering, environmental, permitting, hydrology, and drainage activities across the project lifecycle. Oversee EPC contractors and engineering/environmental consultants. Review site design, grading, drainage, stormwater, and environmental deliverables. Coordinate permitting strategies and ensure regulatory compliance. Monitor project risks relating to civil, environmental, and water resources issues. Support stakeholder engagement, reporting, and project execution activities. Requirements Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline. 8–15 years\' experience within power generation, energy, or large infrastructure projects. Experience managing EPC contractors and external consultants. Strong understanding of civil site design, environmental permitting, drainage, and hydrology. Excellent technical review, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills. Experience with gas turbine or combined-cycle power projects. PE or EIT certification.
