Apprentice Electrician

Skilled Trades Partners is seeking experienced Electrical Apprentices for commercial and light industrial projects. This position is ideal for apprentices with 2-4 years of electrical construction experience who want to strengthen their skills and advance toward becoming Journeyman Electricians.
Responsibilities

• Install conduit, cable tray, wiring, lighting, panels, devices, and electrical equipment.
• Bend and install EMT, PVC, and rigid conduit.
• Pull wire and cable using proper methods and equipment.
• Assist with electrical terminations and basic troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications.
• Safely operate multimeters, continuity testers, hand tools, and power tools.
• Follow OSHA standards, company safety procedures, and jobsite requirements.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and accurately complete required documentation.
• Work effectively with supervisors, journeymen, apprentices, customers, and other trades.

• OSHA 10 Construction certification required.
• 2-4 years of electrical construction experience.
• Basic understanding of the National Electrical Code.
• Experience with commercial or light industrial electrical systems.
• Ability to read a tape measure, perform basic math, and interpret electrical drawings.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Willingness to work overtime or travel when projects require it.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work from ladders, scaffolds, or aerial lifts.

• Enrollment in an apprenticeship program in good standing.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Relevant equipment certifications.
