Contract | Rotating Shift (Days & Nights) | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit, with potential to float to other units serving the same patient population
• Perform continuous ECG rhythm recognition and telemetry monitoring as part of routine patient assessment
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Participate in rotating day and night shifts, including working at least every other holiday as required by the facility
• Complete orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations with an acceptable passing score
• Maintain compliance with annual hands-on competency requirements and facility-assigned training modules

Required Qualifications

• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification — must be in hand at time of submission; no pending certifications accepted
• Active ACLS certification — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active NIHSS certification — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry (combined experience acceptable; preferred within a single location)
• One professional reference required from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months — co-worker references will not be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume acute care or large hospital system environment
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and ECG rhythm interpretation
• Experience floating across multiple units while maintaining consistent quality of care
