About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Experience: Minimum 1 year; first-timers are accepted License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS Must-Have: - Circulate procedures - Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias - Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring Description: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab setting. The patient population will consist of adults to geriatrics. Responsibilities include circulating procedures and monitoring patients during diagnostic and interventional catheterizations. The candidate should be proficient in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Procedural sedation administration and monitoring skills are required. The average daily census is 8-10 patients across 3 rooms with 5 beds. The candidate should be prepared to float within the facility as needed. Call requirements include 10 call days per month. If one major holiday falls within the assignment, the traveler is expected to work it. Two major holidays require the traveler to work both, while for three major holidays, the traveler is expected to work two. Full compliance is required to start on time. A clinical screen will be conducted to ensure fit with guidelines. Orientation hours are included in the contract length. Applicants should ensure they are compliant with all onboarding items prior to starting the assignment.
