Senior Front End Developer

Random Walk has delivered best in class alternative data insights focused on consumer email behavior for over a decade. We are seeking a senior Front End Developer to help design and implement an exciting new product focused on improving how Fortune 500 brands market new products and services with customers and leads. Random Walk works with leading institutional asset managers to help them uncover inflections through changes in how top brands send emails.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable, reusable, and efficient front-end systems
- Collaborate with design and product manager to translate requirements into functional web interfaces
- Design and implement new features to enhance user engagement
- Optimize performance, responsiveness and efficiency
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure code quality and maintainability
- Maintain and iterate to deploy a seamless user experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Proven 5+ years experience in front-end development for production web applications at scale
- Portfolio of designing and implementing consumer based experiences on the web
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Next.js, React, and modern web technologies
- Experience working in versioning control, project management and iterative process software development ecosystem
- Experience with building reusable and efficient front-end systems
- Familiarity with front-end deployment, testing, and infrastructure management
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to share technical concepts clearly and effectively
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and adapting to rapidly changing prioritie
