Shipping Associate
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pack, and ship orders
- Verify item counts and part numbers prior to packaging
- Package items securely to prevent damage
- Operate shipping platforms (UPS, FedEx, DHL)
- Prepare domestic and international shipments
- Band, wrap, and prepare pallets as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team to meet deadlines
- Report discrepancies or issues
Qualifications
- Warehouse or shipping experience preferred
- Experience with UPS, FedEx, DHL is a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Computer skills/ERP or Advance warehousing is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs/team lift 150 lbs
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Work Environment
- Warehouse setting with frequent standing, walking, and lifting.
- Fast-paced environment with daily shipping deadlines.
Skills & Abilities
- Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Inventory software; Manufacturing software; Order processing systems; Microsoft Excel and Word Processing software.
Certificates & Licenses
- Valid Michigan Driver's License.
- Ability to pass Hi-Lo Driver Exam and receive a Hi-lo License.
