divh2CCTV Technician I/h2pLocation: Charleston, SC/ppOverview: ITC Defense is seeking to hire a CCTV Technician I in support of U.S. Navy/Air Force CYP (Child Youth Programs) CCTV Lifecycle Support Service program. This role involves assisting in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software to ensure the safety and security of the child and youth program environments. The technician works under general supervision, applying technical knowledge to maintain and improve system performance./ppResponsibilities:/pulliProvide day-to-day operational support for CCTV, IP video surveillance, and electronic access control systems in CYP facilities./liliPerform hands-on installation, configuration, and testing of IP cameras, VMS software, access control devices, and associated IT equipment in Windows and UNIX-based environments./liliMonitor live and recorded video systems, system health dashboards, and storage capacity; identify and report performance or availability issues./liliPerform basic troubleshooting of cameras, servers, workstations, network connections, and access control components under supervision./liliAssist with system commissioning activities, including camera alignment, video quality verification, and functional testing./liliAbility to move and arrange heavy pieces of electronic equipment, office furniture, and appliances; pull cable; climb structures; use hand and power tools./liliPerform routine and emergency maintenance tasks, software updates, and system checks to support lifecycle sustainment./liliMaintain accurate system documentation, logs, and configuration records for CCTV and access control systems./liliSupport end-user assistance and basic training on CCTV and access control system operation as required./liliUp to 20% of travel is anticipated, both CONUS and OCONUS locations./liliOther duties as assigned./li/ulpMinimum Qualifications:/pulliHigh School Diploma/GED/liliAbility to travel 50-75% to both CONUS and OCONUS locations./li/ulpPreferred Qualifications:/pulliPrior experience with hardware/software support in a network environment preferred./liliFamiliarity with computer hardware, software, and networking principles, specifically CCTV, video surveillance, or electronic access control systems./liliAbility to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and deadlines./liliAt least one year of computerized systems experience, specifically with network protocols and UNIX and Windows-based operating systems./li/ulpWhy work at ITC Defense:/pulliEmployer Supplemented Health Insurance/liliEmployer Paid Dental and Vision Insurance/liliEmployer Paid Life and ADD Insurance/lili3% Biweekly 401(k) Contribution/liliPaid Time Off/liliTuition and Certification Reimbursement/liliCompetitive Salaries with Performance Incentives/liliA positive working environment with supportive teammates and leadership/li/ul/div
