Responsibilities Leverage marketing and social media tools to identify, pursue, and secure new clients who can benefit from having a trusted financial service professional Help clients implement financial recommendations such as life insurance, savings plans, mutual funds, and other financial products Employ a research‑based approach to providing financial advice and strategies based on educational meetings and/or seminars centered on client risk tolerance and financial goals Use a CRM to organize each client’s financial status, goals, cash flow, and monetary expectations for use in their individual financial plan Create customized financial plans using the products and services we offer based on each client’s potential life and financial needs Qualifications Ability to successfully network to prospect new potential clients is a must Relationship management skills are required Candidates need to be able to communicate complicated concepts and maintain strong principles such as honesty and integrity Competitive, coachable, self‑disciplined, authentic Strong communicator, committed to making a positive impact Training, Support, and Professional Development New York Life offers a comprehensive three‑year training program, marketing support, and technical assistance.
