Charles Schwab Insurance Services (CSIS) is accountable for meeting the insurance needs of our more than 6 million individual investor clients and the 7,000+ RIAs we serve. With responsibility for product management and development, direct sales and sales support and oversight, CSIS works closely with all Schwab Client Enterprises to support product distribution and product management, and manages all insurance company partners and vendors associated with the annuity and insurance business. CSIS is responsible for developing and maintaining all annuity and insurance products as well as supporting related platforms and tools. Associate Regional Annuity Specialist (ARAS) supports a team of Regional Annuity Specialists (RAS) by focusing their efforts on client service and operational support. We build trust and inspire confidence through exceptional service one connection at a time. Our dedicated specialists provide one-on-one service to help our clients and RAS research the right annuities for their portfolios with our unbiased approach in helping clients navigate their annuity choices. Whether clients are looking to reassess an annuity they currently own, maximize yield and tax-control, or are ready to start drawing income from their savings, we are here to help them find the right solutions to meet their needs and investing goals. We help clients at all stages of investing take charge of their futures and Own Their Tomorrow. This position is a relationship based service and client support role in which the employee will be responsible for supporting a team of Regional Annuity Specialists. This role requires a high level of engagement with clients, peers and partners. The employee should have a fundamental understanding of Annuities and general income strategies, working towards developing a deep and expert understanding of each. This should include but is not limited to Single Premium Immediate Annuities, Deferred Income Annuities, Fixed Deferred Annuities, Variable Annuities, Fixed Indexed Annuities & Hybrid/Structured Annuities.

What you have

Required:

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in financial services.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Series 7, 63 or 6 highly preferred or obtained within 120 days.
• Active life & health insurance licensing preferred, or obtained within 90 days.
• Knowledge of current regulatory requirements and state laws related to insurance products, in particular annuities is preferred.

Preferred:

• Ability to build relationships, collaborate with partners and consistently produce results.
• Strong organizational & time management skills.
• Knowledge of Annuity Products preferred.
• Ability to effectively use Salesforce preferred.

In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
