Job Description
As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Huntsville, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. This driving post calls for strong communication, professionalism, and customer service, supported by a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site protocols, helping to support authorized entry and/or visitor processing requirements.
- Communicate with site contacts, employees, and/or visitors regarding post instructions, access procedures, and security-related activity while maintaining professional presence and awareness.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
