Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior SQL Server DBA / Azure DBA to support critical production database environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SQL Server Database Administration, Azure SQL, production database support, database migration, performance tuning, and data warehouse environments .

Key Responsibilities

Administer and support critical Microsoft SQL Server production databases .
Monitor database health, availability, performance, and security.
Perform database health checks and recommend performance improvements.
Migrate and upgrade SQL Server databases across servers and SQL versions.
Support migration of on-premises SQL Server databases to Azure SQL .
Deploy, configure, secure, back up, and maintain Azure SQL solutions.
Perform data migration, cleansing, transformation, loading, and validation.
Design and maintain logical and physical database models.
Develop and maintain tables, relationships, schemas, and database structures.
Deploy and maintain database schema changes across test and production environments.
Support Data Warehouse, Data Mart, and Power BI environments.
Integrate Azure SQL with other Azure services.
Troubleshoot and optimize SQL Server and Azure SQL performance.
Coordinate database backup and restore activities.
Collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, vendors, and service providers.
Support software releases and database-related deployments.
Track issues, risks, action items, and provide regular status updates.
Follow database administration and security standards.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of SQL Server Database Administration experience.
4+ years of production database administration experience.
3+ years of Data Analytics experience.
1+ year of Azure Database Administration experience.
1+ year of Data Warehouse experience.
Strong experience with SQL Server performance monitoring and tuning.
Experience with database migration and upgrades.
Strong knowledge of database security, backup, and restore.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
