MMI Tank & Industrial Services of Phoenix, AZ is seeking to hire a full-time Millwright Combo Welder / Structural / ASME Welder to positively represent us on client job sites while completing welding responsibilities. This position comes with a competitive wage of $15-$30/hour based on experience. We also offer generous benefits, paid time off (PTO), sick leave, a 401(k) plan, and out of town per diem. A Day in the Life as a Millwright Combo Welder / Structural / ASME Welder

As a Millwright Combo Welder / Structural / ASME Welder, you go to our clients' job sites ready to get to work. Before you begin welding, you carefully read plans so that you can finish the job correctly. You assemble and disassemble equipment needed to complete SMAW, TIG, GMAW, and FCAW welding processes for plate and pipes as well as structural plate and steel welding. Always attentive to detail, you ensure that your welding work meets our high-quality standards. Each day you enjoy coming to work and are never bored as you complete a variety of projects.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of equipment assembly and disassembly
• Proficiency in SMAW, TIG, GMAW, and FCAW welding processes for plate and pipe
• Proficiency in structural plate and steel welding
• Ability to pass ASME plate test
• Familiarity with pumps, conveyance, mills, manufacturing, process, and construction equipment
• Ability to fabricate, weld, and read plans

Work Schedule
