Emergency Room Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Float

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 36 hours scheduled with 24 hours guaranteed. Occasional on-call shifts may be required.

Job Description

This position involves floating between two Emergency Departments, including a Level I Trauma Center and a Level III facility. Ideal candidates must possess strong ER skills and the ability to adapt to various settings quickly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide patient care in high-pressure environments.
• Evaluate patient conditions and respond to emergency situations efficiently.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
• Document patient interactions and care provided accurately.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months ER Nursing experience within the last 12 months - Required
• Current licenses and certifications (ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC) from approved vendors - Required
• No hits on state license to practice - Required
• Driver's license for residency verification - Required
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
