Certified Respiratory Therapist ($15k Sign-On Bonus)

Overview Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) - Earn $1,206 - $1,623 per week (3x12s) in a night shift, full time position. Base pay ranges from $33.50 to $45.09 per hour with opportunities for shift differentials. Department: Cardiopulmonary / Respiratory Therapy. Location: Chicago Metro Area, Illinois - no car required, lakefront living. Compensation Bonus Amount: $15,000.00. Sign-On Bonus: Available for qualified candidates; eligibility and payout terms apply, to be discussed during the interview process. Pay Range: $33.50 to $45.09 per hour (estimates include wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation). Exact compensation will be determined at hiring, considering skillset, experience, education, credentials, and licensure. Responsibilities Serve as Lead RCP in the absence of a supervisor, overseeing operations during a shift. Provide respiratory care and pulmonary therapy per physician orders. Manage mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and airway management. Perform and interpret arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis. Conduct pulmonary diagnostic procedures and patient assessments. Implement patient-specific care plans. Document patient care, interventions, and outcomes accurately. Respond to critical care situations and emergencies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Qualifications State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. 2 years experience as a RCP preferred. ACLS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current. NRP certificate preferred. PALS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current. Associate degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.
