Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 09:00-19:30 Hours per Shift: 10-12 Hours Experience: 2+ Years License: RN Certifications: BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: General and Urology Surgery GYN Neuro Orthopedics (Total Joints, Sports Medicine, Trauma, Podiatry) Basic ENT Basic Vascular Robot Surgery Description: The position requires an Operating Room Registered Nurse. The role involves working in a 12 Operating Room setting. Patient ratios are 1:1. Electronic Health Record system used is Cerner. Patient population includes geriatric, adult, and occasionally pediatric patients. The OR nurse will work a combination of 10 and 12-hour shifts starting at either 6:45 AM or 9:00 AM. A commitment to weekend call, working one or two weekends every six weeks, and one weeknight every other week is required with a 30-minute response time. Key responsibilities include assisting in various surgical procedures, including general, urology, GYN, neuro, and orthopedic surgeries. Candidates should possess a positive attitude, be a team player, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Housing options are available in the surrounding area.
