The Goddard School of Katy (Cinco Ranch) is looking for a passionate and nurturing Infant Teacher to join our dedicated early childhood team in Katy, TX. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the most formative stage of a child's life in a warm, supportive learning environment. Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, loving care and supervision for infants in a safe and nurturing classroom environment
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that support infant cognitive, social, and physical development
- Maintain accurate daily logs including feeding schedules, diaper changes, and nap times
- Communicate openly and regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's daily progress
- Ensure classroom cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health and sanitation standards
- Build trusting relationships with infants through responsive caregiving and positive interactions
- Collaborate with lead teachers and school administration to support curriculum goals
- High school diploma or equivalent required; early childhood education coursework or degree preferred
- Prior experience working with infants or toddlers in a childcare or early education setting
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong understanding of infant developmental milestones and best practices
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a genuine love for working with young children
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting infants and sitting on the floor
- Must pass required background checks and meet state licensing requirements
