To support a dynamic game development team, the contract Associate Gameplay Animator will create high-quality character animations for locomotion, traversal, and combat in a fully remote environment, collaborating with various departments to ensure responsive gameplay. Key responsibilities Creating high-quality character animations for various gameplay systems Integrating and testing animations directly in-engine while collaborating with team members Assisting with motion capture shoots and cleaning up motion capture data Required qualifications 1+ years of professional production experience or equivalent in game development Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Maya, including animation layers and the Graph Editor Understanding of realistic body mechanics, weight, timing, and character performance Portfolio or demo reel demonstrating character animation skills Willingness to receive feedback and continue developing technical skills Virtual Vocations Inc
