He manages production on the assembly line, assists the team to complete the modules and the daily projects. He is a top leader and ensures the daily workflow by providing the material and plans to the team in place.Roles and ResponsibilitiesAssign the different workers in his team with production line tasksEvaluates the different projects and incoming orders to properly set up the daily production lineMonitors productivity and quality on the line to optimize the productionIdentify and resolve production line problems in a timely mannerTrain and supervise new production line workersCollaborates with the other departments on the assembly line to ensure that modules are completed in timeMaintains a safe, clean, and operational environment at all timesComplies with company policies and regulations and provides guidance to the workers accordinglyMotivates and encourages the employees in their daily tasksKeeps a healthy communication between the production supervisor and the workers as a middlemanRead engineering drawings and blueprints to determine material requirements and task sequencesArrange and examine stocks of sheet metal or parts to be processed to ensure that specifications are metOther responsibilities as assignedQualificationsEducation: High School DiplomaExperience: Five (5) years or more of experience as an Assembler on different tasksComputer Skills: None requiredCertificates & Licenses: None requiredRead engineering drawingsPerform work with precision and thoroughnessSupervisory role experience is an assetExtensive knowledge of product specifications and standardsFind a solution or proactively deal with work-related issuesVersatile, autonomous, and responsibleBe a good team colleagueStrong leadership skillsAssess your own strengths and weaknessesLook for training and development opportunitiesShare your expertise with othersAbility to communicate effectively with others verbally and in writing - English and FrenchFollowing receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.We are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
