RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Cath Lab RN - Day Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day Shift: 4x10-Hour (06:30 - 17:00). On-call required: 2 nights per week (post-shift) and 1 weekend every 2 weeks, totaling 7 days on call per pay period.

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN with a strong background in neuro and ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) care. The ideal candidate will alternate between STEMI and neuro call days, depending on patient needs. The role requires expertise in various cardiac procedures and the ability to operate specialized equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Monitor and assess patients during procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records using Epic software.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with 1.5 years in Cath Lab preferred. No first-time travelers accepted.
• Valid RN license in the state.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
• Neuro skills highly preferred.
