Job Responsibilities

• Educate Patients and Families: Provide instruction to patients and their families regarding therapy techniques that foster continuous improvement at home.
• Track Progress and Adjust Treatment: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain on their path to recovery.

Education Requirements

• Must possess a degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Continuing education or advanced certifications are strongly encouraged and supported.

Licensure and Certifications

• Must hold an active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• Certification from NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is required.
