Overview Cape Cod Hand & Upper Extremity Therapy is an outpatient rehabilitation practice that specializes in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation. We treat the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. Our facilities are equipped to offer our patients an opportunity to reach their optimal functional abilities. Managed and operated by Occupational Therapists, patient care is our number one priority. We take pride in the level of personal and compassionate care that is delivered; emphasizing a hands-on approach to rehabilitation and exercise. Salary and Benefits The anticipated base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 . Salary is based on factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. This position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. The Company\'s incentive compensation plan is subject to change. Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and other benefits are also available, subject to the terms of the Company\'s plan. Job Description Cape Cod Hand & Upper Extremity Therapy is looking for a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to provide coverage in our outpatient clinic. Responsibilities Assess patients with hand and upper extremity conditions to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results Review the physician's referral (prescription), the patient\'s condition, and medical records to determine appropriate upper-extremity rehabilitation interventions, including post-surgical and conservative care Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers Supervise and coordinate care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and create a comprehensive program to attain goals Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers\' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports Qualifications Graduate from an accredited college with an APTA curriculum Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license required New or recent graduates are welcomed and encouraged to apply Additional Information Employment as a Physical Therapist with Cape Cod Hand & Upper Extremity Therapy includes: Highly competitive salary Highly competitive benefits package Including health, dental, vision Generous Paid Time Off 401k retirement plan, disability, and life Insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Corporate discount plans Continuing education reimbursement High level advancement opportunities for experienced Certified Hand Therapists A formalized mentoring process for young hand therapists Reimbursement for fees associated with Board Clinical Specialty Certification Significant continuing education reimbursement Infinite opportunities for future professional growth in clinical excellence and leadership #J-18808-Ljbffr
