Odawa Casino Resort Job Description Job Title: Table Games Supervisor Reports To: TG Shift Manager Department: Table Games Minimum Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour Job Code: TGSP Pay Grade: TG4 Date Written: 06/19/2015 Revision Date: 01/01/2024 Job Summary: Responsible for the successful operations of the Table Games area, assuring game protection, and that Guests have a memorable gaming experience. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Makes recommendations to hire, terminate, promote, demote, transfer, provide training opportunities, recommends merit increases, evaluates performance, completes all written documentation in regard to Annual Evaluations, creates and adjusts performancestandards, provide for the fair and equitable treatment of all Team Members. Foster a culture of learning and development; support individual growth through continuous feedback to achieve personal and professional goals. Exhibits Leadership skills through the continuous evaluation, guidance and encouragement of Team Members. Conducts oneself in a positive and professional manner, acting as a role model for all Team Members. Greet all guests and Team Members in a friendly, openmanner. Maintain knowledge of all current and upcoming promotions and events at Odawa Casino Resort. Recommends process and customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy. Monitors gaming play on assigned tables for mistakes, fills, credits, money changes, and game protection. Interacts with guests to provide a memorable gamingexperience. Enforces Table Games Policies and Procedures. Compiles paperwork as required for assignedshift. Keeps the Table Games Shift Manager informed of status of assignedTableGames. Handles minor disputes and corrects mistakes on assignedtables. Monitors guest consumption and respond according to TIPStraining. Responsible for following established departmental procedures and all applicable laws andshow responsibility by practicing methods that were taught through our TIPSprogram. Uses effective approaches for choosing a course of action or develops appropriate solutions to issues that mayarise. Enters table game and player data into computer system. Attend all meetings as required. Complete all required training satisfactorily. Maintain the highest level of confidentiality at all times. Work at other properties as needed. Performs all other job related duties as assigned within the scope ofthe position. Preference: Applies to Native Americans in accordance with applicable tribal law. Minimum Qualifications Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have two (2) years of experience in Table Games including (1) year supervisory trainingor experience. Must be proficient in three (3) major games offered at Odawa Casino Resort; Blackjackplus Roulette, Craps, and/orPoker. Must be able to pass an audition/test based on previous Table Gamesexperience. Must have knowledge of (TMICS) Tribal Minimum Internal Control Standards. Must be able to efficiently supervise up to eight (8) games during a shift. Must have excellent communication skills as demonstrated during audition, introductoryperiod, throughout employment atOCR. Must be able to stand for long periods oftime. Must have good interpersonal skills and possess tact and diplomacy when dealing withverbal confrontations. Excellent written communication, organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Must have general knowledge of computers, word processing software and gamingmanagement software. Must have the ability to quickly learn specialized software programs. Must read, write and speak English fluently. Must have basic math skills. Must be flexible with shift and days off with ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, special events, etc, asneeded. You may be required to pass a skills assessment test to determine if you meet the minimum qualifications of the position. Exposure to loud and continual noise levels and a smoke filledenvironment.
