Registered Nurse, Pediatric Emergency Department, Full-Time, Nights, Wolfson Children’s Hospital

Sign‑on bonus eligible up to $7,500 for external hires. Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Pediatric Emergency Department at Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. This full‑time position is scheduled for nights, 36 hours per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The Wolfson Children’s Hospital Pediatric Emergency Department provides specialized pediatric emergency care supported by highly trained physicians, nurses, and specialists. It is dedicated exclusively to the care of infants, children, and adolescents. Responsibilities Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement Educate patients and families about their disease process and plan of care Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital Coordinate care provided by ancillary services Act as the patient advocate In this role, you will provide compassionate, family‑centered care to pediatric patients in a fast‑paced and collaborative clinical setting. Qualifications Associate of Science (AS) in Nursing or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Nursing Valid driver's license (DMV) Registered Nurse (RN) license from a state nursing board Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months for Adult EDs and Free Standing EDs Certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 1 year of hire for Free Standing EDs and within 6 months for WCH ED Trauma Nurse Core Course Certification (TNCC) – ENA Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) – ENA Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification – AAP (preferred) Education AS – Nursing; BS – Nursing Experience Experience in an emergency department Location Downtown – Main Building, 800 Prudential Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32207 Equal Opportunity Employer Baptist Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
