TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Frisco, Texas, 75034!

Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Registered Nurse (RN) Certifications: NRP, BLS, ACLS Must-Have: 2 years of recent labor and delivery experience Description: Candidates without the must-have skills will not be considered for the role. Charge experience is preferred. The unit has 13 beds, plus 2 triage beds and 2 operating rooms. There are approximately 34 staff members on the unit. During the day shift, there is 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator, 1 Certified Surgical Technician, and 3-5 RNs, depending on the patient census. On the night shift, there is 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator, 1 Certified Surgical Technician, and 3-5 RNs, depending on the patient census. The patient ratios in the unit usually range from 1:2 to 1:1. Typical equipment used includes GE Electronic Fetal Monitors. The electronic medical record systems in use are CPN and Meditech. Typical procedures performed on the unit include inductions and cesarean sections. The ideal candidate should possess an upbeat and positive personality. Candidates with scrub capability will be given preference. There are 4 weekend shifts and 1 on-call shift required per schedule. Holiday schedules will be discussed if indicated.
