Job Description
1801 Tavern is hiring a dependable, friendly, experienced bartender to join our team. We’re a neighborhood restaurant and sports bar serving great food, drinks, sports, and a fun atmosphere.
Schedule
- Afternoon/evening: 3:30 PM–12:00 AM
- Weekend mornings: Friday, Saturday & Sunday starting at 7:00 AM
- Part-time or consistent hours depending on availability
Pay & Tips
- Hourly wage plus tips
- Servers tip out the bartender
- Bartender also receives their own bar tips
Responsibilities
- Take care of bar and restaurant guests
- Prepare beer, wine, cocktails and other drinks
- Take food and drink orders
- Operate POS and process payments
- Check IDs and follow alcohol-service requirements
- Keep the bar clean, stocked and organized
- Communicate with servers, kitchen and management
- Assist with opening and closing
- Follow 1801 Tavern recipes and service standards
Requirements
- Bartending experience preferred
- Reliable and dependable
- Friendly and outgoing
- Strong customer-service skills
- Able to multitask in a busy restaurant
- Evening and weekend availability
- Friday/Saturday/Sunday morning availability starting at 7 AM
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
