Location: Kenosha, WI | Grade Level: K‑12 | Position Type: In‑Person | Compensation: $60‑$65/hour (depending on experience) | Benefits | Schedule: 40 hours/week | Full‑Time | Start Date: ASAP | Contract Duration: Through the end of the school year Position Summary A Kenosha area school is seeking a compassionate and experienced School Psychologist to serve students in a range of grades and specialized programs. This vital role focuses on helping students overcome emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges while fostering a positive and inclusive school environment. Prefer in‑person, but would consider hybrid. Key Responsibilities Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct psychological and psycho‑educational assessments to identify student strengths and challenges. Intervention & Support: Develop and implement strategies, including individual or group counseling, to address behavioral, emotional, and learning needs. Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to coordinate services and support student success. Crisis Prevention & Response: Provide leadership and direct services during crises, and help develop school‑wide prevention and mental health programs. Consultation & Advocacy: Advise staff on effective interventions and accommodations, and advocate for students' mental health and educational needs. Qualifications Must maintain current State licensures and/or certifications in state of assignment. Experience in the field and ability to obtain DPI license if not already held. Experience in pediatric and adolescent population is preferred. Master's degree in psychology preferred. Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice. Current CPR if applicable. TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x‑ray if applicable. Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation). Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
