Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Stepdown Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ year of Stepdown experience License: Michigan RN License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Proficiency in Cardiac, Comfortability with EKG, Willingness to float to similar units, Health system-wide profile standards Description: This position involves caring for patients in a cardiovascular stepdown unit. The Registered Nurse uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat patient responses to health conditions. The care provided includes management of patients post-cardiac procedures and surgeries. This unit specializes in congestive heart failure and electrophysiology studies. The role includes participation in clinical trials and research activities. The successful candidate will work with a team demonstrating top performance in care and efficiency. A strict attendance policy is in effect, which emphasizes the importance of reliability and accountability. Candidates must provide license verification and be prepared to address any licensing issues. Physical copies of certifications are required if listed.
