Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist working onsite in schools in the San Juan Capistrano area. As part of a team supporting students during leave of absences, you'll have the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young adults. This role is full-time, Monday through Friday, with assignments beginning mid-October and mid-November—exact start dates to be determined. Caseload details, including the number of schools served, will be finalized prior to your start.
What You Bring:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in California
- Previous experience or strong interest in working within K–12 educational settings
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to provide dedicated onsite support
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication challenges in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Develop targeted therapy plans to meet diverse linguistic and developmental needs
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Document evaluations, therapy notes, and required paperwork in compliance with state and district standards
- Travel between assigned school campuses as needed (exact assignments to be confirmed)
- Support students ranging from early elementary to high school age
