Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Landscape Technician to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional landscape and lawn care services, ensuring the beauty and health of our clientsâ outdoor spaces. Your enthusiasm for horticulture, landscaping, and outdoor work will help create vibrant, well-maintained environments that exceed expectations. Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and trimming trees and shrubs to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as excavators safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects.
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering and plant health.
- Execute hardscape projects such as patio installation, walkway construction, and retaining wall setup with precision.
- Conduct seasonal snow plowing operations to ensure safe access during winter months.
- Assist with gardening activities like planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while applying horticultural best practices.
- Maintain equipment through routine inspections and mechanical knowledge to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment.
- Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with tree care practices including trimming, pruning, and health assessment.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators and snow plows safely.
- Strong understanding of landscaping principles, horticulture, irrigation systems, and hardscape installation.
- Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
