Registered Nurse/Case Manager

Location: Apple Valley, CA

Onsite Flexibility: Onsite

• Position Type: Contract (Travel/Contract)
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Shift / Schedule: Day (5x8 Hours) 8:00 16:30
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

This is a travel nursing position in the Case Management department at an Acute Care Facility located in Apple Valley, CA. The role requires a seasoned traveler with demonstrated hospital-based acute care experience.

• Provide acute care case management and discharge planning services
• Manage patient caseloads at a ratio of 1:25 on weekdays and 1:45 on weekends
• Meet department needs including every other weekend coverage

• Minimum 2 years of Acute Care Case Management/Discharge Planning experience required
• Must have hospital experience; behavioral health experience does not apply toward this requirement
• Must be a seasoned traveler first-time travelers are not accepted (hard stop)

• Acute care case management and discharge planning skills
• Ability to manage high patient caseloads and meet department scheduling needs

• CA State RN License required (pending license accepted, but must be fully licensed by start date)

• Dress Code: Business Attire or Scrubs
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend to meet department needs
• Floating Expectation: None
• RTO Restrictions: No more than 7 days
• COVID-19 Vaccination: Not required

• Pending CA state license is accepted; however, candidate must be fully licensed prior to start date

This client is a healthcare and medical services organization operating an acute care facility in the Inland Empire region of Southern California. The facility employs registered nurses, case managers, and allied health professionals across a range of inpatient clinical specialties, with on-site roles that include case management, discharge planning, and direct patient care. Travel nursing professionals who join this team contribute to a patient-centered care environment with structured caseload ratios and defined scheduling requirements.
