ResponsibilitiesPediatrix Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Hospitalist to provide exceptional inpatient care for infants, children, and adolescents across Indiana, in the Indianapolis area. Join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team where you'll manage a diverse range of cases?from acute medical conditions to surgical consults?ensuring every patient receives comprehensive, compassionate, and high-quality care.Key Responsibilities:Deliver direct inpatient care, including daily rounds, admissions, and dischargesInterpret diagnostic studies, prescribe medications, and oversee individualized treatment plansPerform essential pediatric procedures such as IV placement, lumbar punctures, and resuscitationsCollaborate closely with subspecialists, surgeons, and primary care providers to ensure coordinated, seamless careContribute to quality improvement initiatives and support resident education and mentorshipPractice Highlights:Care delivery within a Level II NICU / Special Care Nursery environmentOut-of-house call model supporting strong work-life balanceStructured 24-hour shift scheduleCollaborative, team-oriented culture with strong clinical support
