The Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care setting. The RN is responsible for rapid assessment, triage, stabilization, and ongoing care of patients with a wide range of medical emergencies, ensuring safety and effective outcomes.

Requirements

Required:

• Current New York State RN License
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – required 
• MEDITECH EMR experience (mandatory)
• Travel nursing experience (required)

Preferred:

• Critical Care experience
• Charge nurse experience
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills
