Rehabilitation Technician Outpatient Rehab

Inova Mount Vernon Hospital is looking for a dedicated Rehabilitation Services Technician to join our Outpatient Rehab team. This role will be Full-Time, Day Shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Rehabilitation Services Technician Responsibilities:

• The Rehabilitation Technician adheres to facility policy in the maintenance of patient care areas, equipment, and supplies.
• Assists with the patient care under the guidance/direction of a licensed rehab professional while demonstrating essential skill competencies in the use of patient care modalities.
• Communicates effectively via written and verbal communication with patients, families, medical staff, healthcare team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts.
• Completes all administrative and other responsibilities in support of the operating unit
• May perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: High School or GED
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association required upon start.

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience in the clinical/rehab setting
