Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist for an acute care hospital position in Minnesota, requiring an active MN OT license, Epic experience, and BLS certification.

Details

• 60/40 split between hospital and outpatient settings
• Hospital setting involves general rehabilitation; outpatient setting focuses on hands and upper extremity
• Patient population includes adults of all ages
• Day shift, 5x8 schedule (8:00–16:30)

Requirements

• Active MN OT license required — license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Candidate's primary residence must be at least 25 miles from the facility to qualify

• MN OT temporary license typically issues within 5–10 business days of receiving NBCOT and license verification; fingerprint results are not required for the temporary license to issue
• MN OT permanent license processing takes approximately 4–6 weeks, with background check results alone taking 3–5 weeks
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years are required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
