assistant manager - food services (Golden)

Position Details Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 40 hours per week Education: College, CEGEP or other non‑university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years Experience: 5 years or more Culinary arts/chef training Willing to relocate (relocation costs not covered by employer) Responsibilities Evaluate daily operations Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget Monitor revenues to determine labour cost Monitor staff performance Plan and organize daily operations Recruit staff Set staff work schedules Supervise staff Train staff Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms Conduct performance reviews Cost products and services Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations Organize and maintain inventory Ensure health and safety regulations are followed Participate in marketing plans and implementation Lead and instruct individuals Address customer complaints or concerns Provide customer service Supervise 5-10 people Qualifications Food Safety Certificate Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint), MS Windows, MS Word, Point of Sale system, Spreadsheet Experience recruiting, scheduling, training and supervising staff Strong communication skills (oral and written) Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and under pressure Attention to detail and accuracy Client focus, dependability, flexibility, organized, reliable, team player, multitasking Authorized to work in Canada and willing to relocate Benefits Health benefits Dental plan Health care plan Vision care benefits Financial benefits Bonus Gratuities Free parking available Learning/training paid by employer Other benefits #J-18808-Ljbffr The Turning Point Restaurant
