Senior Licensed Geologist / Project ManagerACC Environmental Consultants, an Employee Owned Company, is seeking a Senior Licensed Geologist / Project Manager to support our growing work across Oregon and Washington. This is a senior technical and client-facing role for an experienced consultant who can lead environmental investigation and remediation projects, support strategic growth, and mentor developing staff.The right candidate will bring strong geological and regulatory expertise, sound project judgment, and the ability to build trust with clients, regulators, and internal teams. Depending on experience and organizational fit, this role may also offer broader leadership opportunity within the region.What You Will DoLead and manage environmental projects involving site investigation, characterization, remediation, and regulatory closure.Provide senior technical direction on geology, hydrogeology, conceptual site models, contaminant fate and transport, and remediation strategy.Prepare and review technical reports, work plans, drilling and sampling plans, data evaluations, and regulatory correspondence.Manage project scope, budget, schedule, and deliverables while maintaining high-quality client service.Support business development through client relationship management, proposal support, and identification of follow-on work.Mentor junior geologists, scientists, and project staff.Coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams and support work across ACC's Oregon/Washington practice.Perform fieldwork when necessary to support project needs.What We Are Looking ForBachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Earth Sciences, or related field. Advanced degree is a plus.Licensed Geologist in Oregon and/or Washington; ability to obtain reciprocal licensure as needed.8+ years of relevant environmental consulting experience, including project management responsibility.Strong experience with environmental site investigations, soil and groundwater sampling, remediation, and regulatory agency interaction.Working knowledge of Oregon and/or Washington environmental cleanup programs and associated regulatory frameworks.Demonstrated technical writing and data interpretation skills.Experience managing client relationships, project budgets, and schedules.OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER, or ability to obtain/update promptly.Valid driver's license and willingness to perform occasional field work and regional travel.What Will Make You Stand OutExperience supporting industrial, commercial, public-sector, or redevelopment clients.Existing client relationships in the Oregon/Washington environmental market.Ability to bring new clients to ACC.Interest in mentoring staff and helping strengthen ACC's technical bench.Familiarity with emerging contaminants, including PFAS.Why ACCOpportunity to play a meaningful senior role in a respected regional consulting firm.Direct impact on project quality, client service, team development, and regional growth.Collaborative environment with room to shape the role and expand leadership responsibility over time.Work that spans both technical depth and practical client problem-solving.Compensation and BenefitsSalary Range: $110,000 - $150,000 depending on experience, qualifications, licensure, and location.ACC provides a comprehensive benefits package to regular full-time and qualifying part-time employees that includes:Eligibility to participate in the company Employee Stock Ownership Program for qualifying individualsGroup medical insuranceHSA contributions to qualifying plans401(k) Retirement Savings ProgramPaid Time OffNine paid holidays per yearCompany Field VehicleBonus programEmployee Assistance ProgramLong-term disability insuranceLife insuranceProfessional development support for license fees, memberships, training, and seminars
