Do you have a passion for working with dogs and a knack for understanding their unique personalities? At The Yellow Dog's Barn in Barrington, NH, we’re looking for a dedicated Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. If you have prior experience in a dog daycare or training facility and love spending your days surrounded by wagging tails, we’d love to hear from you!
What You'll Be DoingAs a Dog Daycare Attendant, your day will be filled with fun and rewarding responsibilities, including:
- Supervising and managing playgroups to ensure all dogs are safe and having a great time.
- Monitoring dog behavior and intervening when necessary to maintain a positive environment.
- Cleaning and maintaining the daycare facility to ensure a healthy and welcoming space.
- Providing individual attention to dogs as needed, ensuring their comfort and happiness.
- Communicating effectively with team members and dog owners about any concerns or updates.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- At least 1 year of experience working in a dog daycare or training facility.
- A strong understanding of dog behavior, body language, and group dynamics.
- Physical ability to handle dogs of all sizes and energy levels.
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills.
- A genuine love for dogs and a commitment to their well-being.
