If so, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll DoAs a Part-Time Paramedic, you will work alongside Nuclear Medicine Technologists, physicians, and clinical staff at our client cardiology facilities. You will play a vital role in supporting cardiac stress testing procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional clinical care.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and educate patients for cardiac stress testing proceduresObtain patient histories and perform focused clinical assessmentsMonitor patients during testing, including ECG monitoring and vital sign evaluationEstablish and maintain IV access as part of stress testing protocolsAssist with treadmill and pharmacologic stress testing proceduresRespond appropriately to patient concerns or changes in clinical conditionAccurately document patient information, assessments, and test dataCollaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure safe and efficient patient careMaintain compliance with all applicable clinical and safety standardsWhat Makes You SuccessfulStrong patient care and customer service mindsetExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently while contributing to a collaborative clinical teamFlexibility to adapt to changing schedules and patient needsProfessional, dependable, and safety-focused approach to careStrong critical thinking and clinical assessment skillsQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredCompletion of an accredited Paramedic programCurrent Paramedic certification and/or New Jersey State Licensure, as applicableStrong IV placement and management skillsExperience with cardiac monitoring, telemetry, emergency medicine, or critical care preferredCurrent CPR and ACLS certifications requiredAbility to pass pre-employment background screening, drug screening, and physical examinationValid driver's license and proof of current automobile insuranceWhy CDL Nuclear?At CDL Nuclear, our employees are the foundation of our success.
