Whether you have over a year of experience treating exotics, birds, and reptiles, or you're a new graduate eager to learn, we’d love to meet you! You’re passionate about learning and take full advantage of continuing education opportunities (which we’ll cover!). You get excited about having the right tools to diagnose and treat your patients, and we provide everything you need, including an in-house laboratory, digital radiology, digital dental radiology, Companion Laser for therapy, advanced ultrasound, and the Vimago HDVI-CT! You're also eager to grow your surgery skills, from soft tissue to orthopedics, and you’re ready to dive into advanced dental care. (But don’t worry—treating exotics is optional. We have plenty of dogs and cats too!) We value a healthy work-life balance, so our hours and schedule are flexible. Our comprehensive benefits package includes a competitive salary + production, paid vacation, health and dental insurance, license fees (including DEA), paid CE, and memberships to VIN, VETgirl, AVMA, CVMA, and specialty groups. We’re open Monday-Friday, 9-6, and currently closed on Saturdays and Sundays—no evenings or emergency hours. Looking to relocate? About the Animal Medical Center of Corona We are a small and exotic animal practice with the motto "Modern Medicine with Old-Fashioned Care." As a busy clinic, we pride ourselves on offering state-of-the-art services, including an in-house lab, Vimago HDVI CT scan, digital radiology, ultrasound, digital dental radiology, Companion laser therapy, and regenerative medicine (PRP, Stem Cell). Our well‑trained staff and strong reputation in the community make us a trusted choice for pet owners. We use the ProSal method of salary/production pay. This is a very reasonable guaranteed base against production. This way, especially when new, you are not penalized during your learning curve OR if the practice has slow times. There are not "goals", when your production surpasses your base, you get to keep the difference, if not, you still get your base, no matter what. Our lay and technical team members also bonused on production so that the entire team is encouraged to work together and thrive. We do have 1st year DVMs making 150K+ working 40 hrs/week. While we prefer candidates with a year or more of experience, new graduates with a passion for or specific training in exotics, avian, reptiles, and small mammals are more than welcome to apply. Our work hours are flexible to fit your lifestyle needs, and you must have (or be in the process of obtaining) a valid California veterinary license.
