1. POSITION SUMMARY

This role provides surgical care within a multidisciplinary environment, delivering evaluation, treatment, and follow up services for patients requiring operative and non operative management. The position supports the organization s commitment to high quality, evidence based clinical practice.

2. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Document patient histories, examination findings, and clinical data in an industry standard EMR.
• Assess patient conditions and determine appropriate diagnostic or therapeutic plans.
• Review clinical tests and imaging to guide treatment decisions.
• Communicate procedural details, care plans, and results to patients in a clear and supportive manner.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust management strategies as needed.

3. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Active or obtainable State medical license.
• Active or obtainable State controlled substance registration.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery.

4. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience delivering evidence based surgical care.

5. COMPETENCIES

6. CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide operative and non operative surgical care within scope of training.
• Interpret diagnostic studies to support clinical decision making.
• Perform Evaluation and Management documentation consistent with professional standards.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members.
• Participate in patient follow up and continuity of care.

7. ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation.
• Support departmental quality and performance initiatives.

9. SCHEDULE & CALL REQUIREMENTS

Standard clinical hours with participation in call responsibilities as assigned.
