Wildlife Management Technician and Dog Handler

About Us Flyaway Geese® is a national leader in humane goose control, using highly trained Border Collies to safely and effectively manage Canada geese on commercial properties, parks, schools, and government sites. This is not a typical job—it's hands-on, outdoors, and requires independence, consistency, and accountability. Position Overview We are seeking a highly dependable, self-motivated Wildlife Control Specialist based in the San Antonio area. This role involves working directly with a trained Border Collie to humanely haze and relocate geese from client properties. You will be responsible for managing daily service routes, handling a working dog, and representing our company professionally on-site. What You'll Do Conduct daily goose management visits at assigned properties Handle and work alongside a trained Border Collie Use humane hazing techniques to move geese off-site Vary visit times and strategies to prevent habituation Document all visits with photos, notes, and reports Communicate with management and occasionally with clients Assist with nest monitoring and egg addling (seasonal, with permits) What We're Looking For Non-Negotiables: Extremely dependable – this role requires consistency every single day Lives in or very near or within driving distance of San Antonio area.
