This includes initiating prior authorization requests through payer portals (e.g., Availity, Evicore) and maintaining oversight of expiration timelines to prevent lapses in care. + Clinical Liaison & Documentation: Serve as the key liaison between patients, providers, and payers to validate medical necessity and secure substantiation, such as Letters of Medical Necessity, in alignment with NCCN guidelines. + Patient Financial Advocacy: Coordinate with Patient Assistance teams to identify co-pay cards, grants, or "free drug" programs and generate "Good Faith Estimates" for patients. + Operational Workflow Oversight: Manage electronic and paper intake work queues using "First-In, First-Out" integrity while escalating urgent requests according to national SOPs. **What minimum requirements you'll need** Licensure / Certification / Registration: + One or more of the following required: + Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. + Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
