About the Position

Job Title: Infusion RN, Oncology Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Infusion RN, Oncology Nurse Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN Certifications: ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy card preferred Must-Have: Experience in outpatient oncology infusion is preferred. Description: The position involves working in an infusion setting. The primary responsibilities include administering chemotherapy infusions and supportive therapies. The role requires the nurse to have skills in intravenous medication administration. Tasks may also involve drawing labs from subcutaneous portacaths and performing central line dressing changes. Shifts will vary between 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. There are no weekend or call requirements for this position. Candidates must possess the necessary credentials and competencies for this role. If the candidate does not have outpatient oncology infusion experience or the required certification, they will be utilized in lab functions only. Holiday coverage may be required.
